ORDER

Under sub-sections 1 of section 68 of the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act 2000 ( Central Act 56 of 2000), rules for the management of the institutions established under the said Act have to be framed. Accordingly, the Director of Social Defence has sent draft rules for the purpose. The Government accept them with certain modifications.

2. The appended notification will be published in the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette and implemented from 1.1.2002.
