1. Family Card Maintenance System

A workflow based Family Card Maintenance System has been developed for the Department of Civil Supplies & Consumer Protection Department, to assist in maintenance of consumer database. Citizens interact with the AC/TSO offices for issue of new family cards, various types of alterations to existing cards, issue of surrender certificates, etc. The software provides a work flow application to manage these services at the AC/TSO offices. All the TSO and Assistant Commissioners’ Offices, are provided with internet connectivity. The card database in the central server at the office of the Commissioner of Civil Supplies, is kept updated through online interaction with all the AC/TSO offices. This provides accurate data for computing card-wise entitlement, which is used for preparation of Shop-wise, Taluk-wise, and District-wise monthly allotment statements.

Workflow Stages:

  • Entry of application by counter clerk and printing of acknowledgement slip.
  • Field Verification entry by field staff
  • Verification and forwarding by Superintendent
  • Approval by AC/TSO
  • Uploading to Commissioner Office
  • Printing of Family Card
  • Issue of Family Card
